Frequently Asked Questions

  • We ask if you’re coming in for a colour service to, please have your hair washed with little to no product 24 to 48 hours prior to the appointment.

    Not only can build up make it difficult for the colour to penetrate to where it needs to go, but it’s also a little gross having your stylist handle dirty hair for an hour. If you’re coming for a full haircut then don’t worry we will wash your hair prior to starting!

  • We take all forms of payment, cash, debit and the major CC companies. Also, if you for some reason forget your wallet (it definitely happens) we can accept e-transfer as well!

  • We don’t have any designated parking spots however there are lots of 1 hour street parking spots in the area for those getting a cut, as well as a Green P Lot on Queen Street just west of Brock (our closest major intersection.)

  • Golden Hour is a collective beauty space, we operate as a co-working environment meaning that each artist handles their own booking. If you want to inquire on booking with them their instagrams are linked under our collective artists page.

  • If you’re within 10 minutes of your appointment you’re welcome to buzz in and hang out in our waiting room, have a coffee, tea, water or adult beverage til your artist is ready for you.

    If you’re quite early (which we appreciate more than being late) feel free to grab a coffee and pastry at the Sam James/Robinson Bread located at the end of Noble and Brock before heading over to help your artist not feel rushed through their current appointment :)

  • We are absolutely a dog friendly space, we just ask you give us a heads up if you’re bringing your furry friend with you. We also ask you only bring your pup if they’re not disruptive to the other artists and guests in the space.
